700 Bulbs Planted: Tulips & Daffodils

Friends of Markfield Park planted 500 tulip bulbs & 200 daffodil bulbs on Saturday 24 November with Head Gardener, Taner Ali, on hand to advise & support our efforts. The tulip varieties are 'Café Noir' and 'Blue Diamond'.

Don't worry if you missed out on the planting this time... there's lots more do to, including regular sessions with The Conservation Volunteers (TVC) in Markfield Park.

Looking forward to seeing the bulbs spring up next year! (Please don't pick them! If you do, the bulbs come up 'blind', ie, with no flower, the following year.)

Free Moselle Guide

"It's very exciting to see the Moselle at last getting the recognition it deserves as Haringey's river. We are inviting residents to come and join us on the walk to hear about its history and its role as an important local watercourse."
